Puzzle Cube Combinations
We have begun our puzzle cube project! Below you can see many different sketches I have done to show the many combinations that you can arrange three, four, five, and six blocks in. (Note that I have done only some of the possible combinations and not every combination for four, five, and six because there are so many of them. Also note that I have left out combinations that can't fit in a 3 x 3 cube).
Conclusion Question Answers:
- It is important for designers to think of multiple solutions to a design problem because some ideas are better than others and not every idea may work.
- I could not find every possible combination as a result of time constraints as well as design constraints, but the combinations I did find I found by using wooden cubes to build as many combinations as possible for each set number of cubes (three, four, five, etc).
- It is important that I sign and date the document in order to have documented proof that this is indeed my work as well as record of what I did and when I did it.
